I'm a blog whore

I haven't been very communicative lately. I guess it's time to fess up...I started my own blog. I'm a whore-slut-hussy. It's a little more journal-esque, describing my life, including my recent career crisis/mental breakdown. It was awesome! Here it is if you want to see it

My one political observation of the day: maybe W. is starting to realize...democracy can be a bitch! Be careful what you ask for, George.

Nice. I was wondering how long until someone would stake their own claim. Hope you still find time contribute/comment to this blog.

As for the Palestinian elections I’m not certain I agree the outcome should be seen as a caution against further rapid democratization in the region. Sure, it’s never good when terrorists are in control of any state but regardless of the election outcome, Hamas would have continued being the real muscle either way; sort of like when Junior was boss on Sopranos. The previous Fatah government was nothing more than a corrupt figurehead that acted as a lightning rod against Israeli reprisals. Now when Hamas decides to take out a bus in Tel Aviv it will be one state government acting against another and not the isolated actions of a few rouge elements outside regime control. Democracy alone has made Hamas accountable in a way no diplomatic carrot and stick ever could. They are victims of their own success and will be fully responsible for future peace or bloodshed.

Good luck on the Praxis (sounds intimidating – like a surgical instrument).

Thanks man. The praxis wasn't bad. I hope you're right on Hamas. Seems like bad timing...Sharon the reformer bites the dust, and Abu Mazen is left with his dick in his hand.

Hey Joe. I figured I should pipe-up and say I dig the more personal, no holds barred, rambly style of your blog. At the very least, it gets you writing, and good or bad, it goes up. I firmly believe that's the kind of practice that makes one a better writer, and it's something I'm personally jealous of as I don't really put myself out there as much as I could. So keep it up, and I encourage you to post stuff here should it be a better fit. (By the way, I don't really know what would determine that. I'm not sure what identity this blog has. But still, have at it.)
